BIOGRAPHY
Kylie Roy Fitts was born on October 11, 1994, in Santa Rosa, California, United States. He is a linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL.
He played college football at Utah. Fitts originally signed with UCLA, but transferred after one year with the program. After redshirting for a year, Fitts played in all 13 games during his sophomore year. He was also invited to the 2018 Senior Bowl.
He was rank two-time first-team all-Citrus Belt League, two-time first-team all-CIF Inland Division and two-time all-area. Fitts totaled 79 tackles, 16.0 TFL and 8.5 sacks as a junior. Fitts played in the Army All-American Bowl out of Redlands East Valley HS, CA.
On the 2013 season he played in six games as a true freshman at UCLA in 2013, recording 1 TFL before transferring to Utah. He was a four-star recruit by Rivals and Scout and ranked as the nation's No. 9 strong side defensive end in the 2013 class by Rivals, and the 12th-best recruit in the state. He was also ranked as the 12th-best defensive end in the nation by Scout, and the No. 1 defensive end prospect in the West. Fitts was listed as the nation's No. 85 recruit by ESPN, ranking eighth nationally at his position, 12th overall in the West and eighth overall in California. He finished his senior season with 31 tackles, 6.0 TFL and 4.0 sacks.
On the 2014 season: Redshirt practiced with the team but could not play in games per NCAA transfer rules. On the 2015 season Fitts played in all 13 games with 11 starts, he led the Pac-12 and tied for ninth in the country in forced fumbles (4). 0.31 forced fumbles per game led the league and tied for 13th in the nation, he also led Utah and tied for fourth in the Pac-12 with 7.0 sacks, 41 tackles (8.0 TFL). He made it second on the team and tied for fourth in the Pac-12 in pass breakups (10), seven tackles (1.0 TFL) and three pass breakups against UCLA. Six tackles (1 sack), a forced fumble and pass breakup against Washington, five tackles and a pass breakup against Utah State, 1.5 sacks, a pass breakup and a blocked field goal against Colorado.
On the 2016 season he played and started in two games before suffering a season-ending injury, at the time of his injury, he was leading the team in tackles for loss (3.0) and 1.5 sacks, four total tackles were all against Southern Utah. By the 2017 season, Fitts played and started in 10 games, he did three sacks ranked third on the team, 23 tackles, one forced fumble and one pass breakup. Made career-high eight tackles (1.0 sack) against Oregon and two sacks, three tackles and a forced fumble against San Jose State. On his college career, Fitts appeared in 31 games (23 starts) at UCLA and Utah, recording 69 tackles, 15 TFLs, 11.5 sacks, 11 pass breakups and 5 forced fumbles.
On May 10th, 2018, Fitts signed a 4 year contract with Chicago. In August 2019, he was waived. On September 4, 2019, Fitts was signed to the Arizona Cardinals practice squad.
On September 3, 2019, Fitts was signed to the Arizona Cardinals practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster on December 4, 2019. On December 28, 2020, Fitts was placed on injured reserve.
The Cardinals placed an exclusive-rights free agent tender on Fitts on March 15, 2021.
