BIOGRAPHY

Brian Hoyer was born on October, 13th, 1985, in Lakewood, Ohio. He is a quarterback in the National Football League.

Hoyer would attend St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio where he was a varsity player in both baseball and football. As a  two-year starting quarterback in high school, Hoyer would go 16-7 record. He would complete 389 of 675 passes, which was a 57.6 completion percentage and throw for 7,700 yards. Hoyer would also throw 63 touchdowns and 27 interceptions. For his senior season, Hoyer was selected as an AP Division I All Star before taking his talents to Michigan State.

Hoyer would redshirt in 2004 before eventually taking over the starting role in 2007. Hoyer would finish his career with the Spartans throwing for 6,159 yards with 35 touchdowns and 23 interception. He would complete 500 of the 896 passes attempted  for a 55.8 completion percentage.

Hoyer would begin his NFL career as a undrafted free agent before landing with the New England Patriots. Also has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, and San Francisco 49ers. Hoyer with his second stint with the New England Patriots won Super Bowl LIII against the St. Louis Rams. On September 2, 2019, Hoyer would sign a three year deal to play with the Indianapolis Colts. Thus far in his NFL career, Hoyer has 9,902 passing yards with 48 touchdowns and 30 interceptions while providing a 59.3 completion percentage and a passer rating of 83.2

Hoyer joined the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023.
