Matias Maccelli was born October 14, 2000 in Turku, Finland. He is a left wing in the National Hockey League.

Maccelli was drafted in the fourth round, 98th overall, by the Coyotes in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. On 16 July 2023, Maccelli signed a three-year, $3.425 million contract extension with the Coyotes.
