Kyle Okposo was born April 16, 1988 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He is a right wing in the National Hockey League.

Okposo was drafted seventh overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders, for whom he played from 2008 to 2016. He made his NHL debut on March 18, 2008 and scored his first career NHL goal on March 21, 2008. On July 1, 2016, Okposo signed a seven-year, $42 million contract with the Buffalo Sabres. During his first season with the club, Okposo recorded 45 points in 65 games. He also represented the team at the 2017 National Hockey League All-Star Game.
