Klim Kostin was born May 5, 1999, in Penza, Russia. He is a left winger in the National Hockey League.

Kostin was selected 31st overall by the St. Louis Blues, and made his NHL debut with them in 2019. Kostin scored his first career NHL goal with the St. Louis Blues during the 2019–20 season on November 23, 2019. On 9 October 2022, Kostin was traded to the Edmonton Oilers and scored his first goal with the Oilers on 1 December 2022. On 29 June 2023, Kostin was traded to the Detroit Red Wings and was signed to a two-year, $4 million contract with the Red Wings on the opening day of free agency on 1 July 2023.
