Kevin Korchinski was born June 21, 2004, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He is a defenseman in the NHL.

On August 11, 2022, Korchinski signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks.

For his play with the Seattle Thunderbirds in the 2022–23 WHL season, Korchinski named to the Canadian Hockey League (CHL)'s Third All-Star Team. The Thunderbirds entered the 2023 WHL playoffs as contenders, ultimately winning the Ed Chynoweth Cup as league's champions. Their league title qualified the team for the 2023 Memorial Cup, where they reached the event final, but were defeated by the Quebec Remparts.

On November 09, 2023 Korchinski scored his first NHL goal against the Tampa Bay Lightning at 16:43 of the 1st period.
