Joe Veleno was born January 13, 2000 in Kirkland, Quebec, Canada. He is a center in the National Hockey League.
Veleno was selected in the first round 30th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2018 NHL entry draft and on May 1, 2019, Veleno signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Red Wings. Veleno made his NHL debut for the Red Wings on April 27, 2021.
