Jake Evans was born June 2, 1996, in Toronto, Ontario. He is a forward in the NHL.

Evans was selected in the seventh round, 207th overall by the Canadiens in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. On February 10, 2020, Evans scored his first NHL goal and on October 3, 2021, Evans signed a three-year, $5.1 million contract extension with the Canadiens.
