Barclay Goodrow was born February 26, 1993 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is a centre in the National Hockey League.

Goodrow was invited to attend the San Jose Sharks' Development Camp and subsequently signed with them and during the 2019–20 season, was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning whom he helped win back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2020 and 2021. On July 17, 2021, his signing rights were traded by Tampa Bay to the New York Rangers in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. On October 28, 2023, Goodrow played in his 500th career NHL game.
