Ugo Amadi was born on May 16th, 1997 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is a cornerback in the NFL. 

Amadi attended Overton High school, where he was a Finalist for the Hume Award, given to the Nashville metro’s top prep scholar-athlete. Amadi tallied 49 tackles, five interceptions and nine pass breakups as a junior to earn a spot on the Tennessean’s Dandy Dozen. Accounted for 15 touchdowns for the which finished 2014 with a 6-5 record while advancing to the 6A playoffs. Amadi was credited with 25 tackles and two interceptions his senior year in addition to breaking up five passes, returned three punts, and one kickoff for touchdowns in 2014.

Amadi played in all 51 of Oregon’s games from 2015-18. Scored four TDs over his final two seasons with three coming on interception returns for touchdowns. First FBS player with two pick-6s and a punt return in the same season (2018) since Alabama’s Minkah Fitzpatrick in 2015. Only player in the Pac-12 and one of just 11 FBS players with three interceptions and three forced fumbles in 2017.

Ugo Amadi was selected with the third of three fourth-round draft picks with the 132nd overall pick to Seattle Seahawks in the 2019 NFL Draft.
