BIOGRAPHY
Travis Fulgham was born on September 13, 1995, in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a wide receiver in the NFL.
He studied at the University of Old Dominion and is a wide receiver for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League. In his early years, Fulgham attended Broad Run High School where he only played two years of High school football.
After he finished high school, Fulgham committed to the University of Old Dominion where as a freshman in 2015, he played in 10 games on the year where he had six receptions for 89 yards on the year. He registered his first three catches of his career for 65 yards in the win over Charlotte and had one catch for 10 yards against UTSA and UTEP. As a sophomore in 2016, Fulgham started all 13 games at wide receiver and had the third-most receptions on the team with 29 for 478 yards. He tallied eight touchdowns on the season and averaged 16.5 yards per catch an 36.8 per game. He also had one catch but it went for a 31-yard touchdown in the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl win over Eastern Michigan. As a junior in 2017, Fulgham played in all 12 games, starting seven at wide receiver where he caught a career-high 30 passes for 394 yards and a touchdown. He registered career-bests with six catches for 102 yards, including a career-long 71-yard touchdown catch against North Carolina, making it Fulgham's first career 100-yard receiving game. In his senior year in 2018, Fulgham was a second-Team All-Conference USA, a first-Team Conference USA by Pro Football Focus and was the First ODU offensive player to be invited to the Reese's Senior Bowl. He led Conference USA with 1,083 receiving yards on 63 receptions and had a streak of nine-straight games with a touchdown streak longest in FBS in 2018. He also led C-USA with 17.2 yards per catch. For his career, Fulgham had 122 receptions for 2,044 yards and 18 touchdowns.
After he graduated from college, Fulgham entered the 2019 NFL Draft where he was selected in the sixth round by the Detroit Lions and on March 14, Fulgham signed a rookie contract with the Lions.
