Tino Ellis was born October 15, 1997, in Reisterstown, Maryland. He is a cornerback for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL.

Ellis attended Dematha Catholic High School where he won 3 conference championships and finished his senior year All-American and 1st team all conference. He attended the University of Maryland where he was a 4-year letterman (2016-19) and 3-year starter. For his college career he played in 42 games with 25 starts; 72 tackles (53 solo), 1 interception and 22 passes defensed.

Ellis was signed by New Orleans as an undrafted college free agent on April 29, 2020. He was waived by New Orleans on Aug. 19, 2020 and signed to Miami’s practice squad on Oct. 15, 2020.
