Taco Charlton was born on November 7,1994 in Columbus Ohio. He is a a defensive end in the NFL.

While attending Pickerington Central, Taco played two ways. During his senior season, he was Division 1 All-Ohio honors while having 116 tackles and 19 sacks. As a 4 star recruit, Charlton committed to University of Michigan.

As a four year player, Taco started his career being a backup. He would also play on special teams. Taco did not get a start until his junior season, He had 30 tackles and 5.5 sacks that season. His senior campaign did not start the way he wanted to. The first two games Taco missed due to an injury. Taco played in the last 11 games while having 40 tackles and 10 sacks. The Dallas Cowboys selected Taco Charlton with the 28th pick in the 2017 NFL draft.

Taco's time with the Cowboys did not go as expected. During his first season, Charlton did not start a game for the Cowboys. During his 2nd season, he started in 7 games. With the production not being there, the Cowboys released Taco two weeks into the season in 2019. The Miami Dolphins picked him up off of waivers when he started in 5 games, 21 tackles and 5 sacks. The Kansas City Chiefs signed him for the 2020 season and resigned him for the 2021 season.
