BIOGRAPHY
Sharrod Neasman was born on October 14, 1991, in Sarasota, Florida. He is a free safety in the NFL.
During his freshman season in 2012, Neasman recorded two kick returns, the first a gain of 22 yards versus North Texas. He tallied 11 tackles on the year, including nine solos. His first multiple tackle game was two at Georgia. As a sophomore in 2013, Neasman saw defensive action in eight games. He ended the season with a total of five tackles.
During his junior season in 2014, Neasman recorded eight tackles, nearly his season total in 2012, six were solo. He had two tackles, one solo, at No. 2 Alabama. Neasman recorded three tackles in the home season opener versus Tulsa and recorded three tackles, including two solos at Wyoming. He tallied six tackles in the game and credited with two pass breakups. He ended his junior campaign fifth on the team with 60 tackles, two interceptions and three passes defended. Neasman was named the team's Comeback Player of the Year at the season-ending banquet.
In 2015 during his senior season, Neasman recorded two tackles at Charlotte but helped to set the record night of six interceptions with an INT that he returned 30 yards. He recorded four tackles (3-1) versus Rice. Neasman led the Owls at WKU with ten tackles (7-3). Neasman was named the team's 2015 Student-Athlete of the Year.
On May 5, 2016, Neasman signed with the Atlanta Falcons. He was promoted to the active roster on October 18, 2016. On May 31, 2018, Neasman signed with the New Orleans Saints.
On September 25, 2018, Neasman was signed by the Falcons.
