BIOGRAPHY
Scott Quessenberry was born on March 23rd, 1995, in Carlsbad, California. He is an offensive lineman in the National Football League.
Born in Carlsbad, CA to his parents: David and Maureen Quessenberry. Has two older brothers David (offensive lineman at San Jose State, selected in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans) and Paul (linebacker at Naval Academy). He lists his biggest thrills in sports as blocking a punt in high school and scooping it up for a score. Has said some of his favorite athletes are the NBA's LeBron James and NFL twins Mike and Maurkice Pouncey. Some of his hobbies include basketball and going to the beach. Named to the Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll in Fall 2014, Spring 2015, Winter 2017, Spring 2017 and Fall 2017 quarters, was a Political Science major.
In College he played four seasons at UCLA and started 44 games for the Bruins along the offensive line, including all games in his final three seasons. He protected All-Conference quarterback Josh Rosen for two seasons, including for the largest comeback in school history and five 400-yard passing performances in 2017. He was named first-team All-Pacific-12 as a junior and was an honorable mention in 2017 as a senior and helped the Bruins rank third in the Pac-12 in total offense in 2017.
Quessenberry was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the fifth round with 155th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. In 2018 he appeared in 15 games and participated in both postseason contests.
On March 23, 2022, Quessenberry signed with the Houston Texans.
