Rashaan Gaulden was born on January 23, 1995 in Spring Hill, Tennessee. He is a safety in the NFL.

Daulden went to Independence High School. While there, he was a two sport athlete (football and track). He was an all-American track star finishing 4th nationally in the 4x400 relay. During his senior football season, he recorded 193 tackles. He decided to stay home and committed to the University of Tennessee.

AS a true freshman in 2014, Rashaan played in 11 games. He missed his entire sophomore season due to a foot injury. The following season he played in all 13 games while recording 68 tackles. For his redshirt junior season, he had another good season while recording 65 tackles. Gaulden was selected in the 3rd round (85th pick) in the 2018 NFL draft by the Carolina Panthers.

Rashaan spent his rookie season with the Panther but cut in the middle of the 2019 season. The Giants picked him up on their practice squad and then promoted shortly after that season to the active roster. After the 2019 season, Gaulden was waived by the Giants and then signed with the Raiders in 2020.
