BIOGRAPHY
Qadree Ollison was born on September 8, 1996, in Niagara Falls, New York. He is a running back in the NFL.
In his early years, Ollison attended Canisius High School where he was the top running back prospect in the state of New York according to Rivals and 247Sports. He rated a consensus Top 5 overall prospect in New York by the major scouting services and was a two-time New York State Sportswriters Association Class AA All-State selection. Ollison finished as the all-time career rushing leader at Canisius with 4,147 yards, a total that ranked third in Monsignor Martin Association history. As a senior, he scored 57 career touchdowns and rushed for 1,465 yards and scored 22 touchdowns while as a junior, he .as a junior, rushed for 1,876 yards and scored 26 TDs. He also led Canisius to a 20-2 record his final two seasons, including back-to-back MMA championships.
After he finished high school, Ollison committed to the University of Pittsburgh where he began his first active collegiate campaign as Pitt’s third-string tailback, finishing it as an All-ACC honoree and 1,000-yard rusher. Ollison became the fifth freshman in Pittsburgh history to achieve a 1,000-yard season, finishing with 1,121 yards and 11 touchdowns on 212 carries and also had 14 receptions for 77 yards and a TD. He was also selected the ACC’s Offensive Rookie of the Year by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association and league coaches and was a co-recipient of the coaches’ overall Rookie of the Year award with Pitt safety Jordan Whitehead. As a sophomore in 2016, he played in all 13 games, starting two, rushing for 127 yards on 33 carries and two touchdowns, while catching two passes for 38 yards. He recorded season highs in carries with 9 and rushing yards with 36 in the Panthers 42-39 win over Penn State and had a career-long 30-yard reception against Northwestern in the Pinstripe Bowl. As a junior in 2017, he played in all 12 games, starting eight, rushing for 398 yards and five touchdowns on 90 carries and also had 23 receptions for 194 yards and two TDs. In his senior year in 2018, he was a starter in all 14 games and was named All-ACC second-team. He paced Pitt with 1,213 yards and 11 touchdowns on 194 carries, ranking second in the ACC in total rushing yards while ranking third in rushing yards per game averaging 86.6 and yards per carry. Ollison was among the nation’s running backs, ranking 24th in total rushing yards and 27th in yards per carry, becoming only the sixth player in Pitt history to achieve multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons. For his career, Ollison compiled 2,859 rushing yards to rank seventh all-time at Pittsburgh.
After he graduated from college, Ollison entered the 2019 NFL Draft where he was selected in the fifth round by the Atlanta Falcons.
