BIOGRAPHY
Nathan Michael Hall was born on April 6, 1996, in Toledo, Ohio. He is an American football linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. He played college football for northwestern.
He attended Southview High School; he recorded during his time there 111 tackles and three interceptions in his defensive career and caught 16 passes for 408 yards as a tight end. Earned varsity letters in three sports all four years of his career (football, basketball, and track) and was a two-sport captain; he was a member of the honor roll. He was also named district Defensive Player of the Year and Northern Lakes League Player of the Year as a tight end and defensive back.
He played college football or the wildcats at Northwestern University; in 2014 he redshirted. In 2015 he appeared in every game of the season; he was fifth on the team in tackles with 56 despite limited playing time. He recorded ten tackles and was named Academic All-Big Ten.
In 2016 he appeared in all 13 games, starting eight at the SAM linebacker position; finished the season third on the team with 73 tackles, including 43 solo stops and six tackles for loss. In 2017 he started all 12 regular-season games at SAM linebacker; he was named Honorable Mention All-Big Ten by media and coaches. He finished the season second on the team with a career-high 79 tackles. He led the Wildcats; ranked second in the Big Ten and 13th nationally with 16.5 tackles for loss during the regular season and his 16.5 tackles for loss are the sixth most in NU single-season history. He was Academic All-Big Ten.
In 2018 he started nine games as a senior linebacker, recording 51 tackles, 5.5 TFL, and three interceptions, tied for the team-high; he was named All-Big Ten honorable mention and Academic All-Big Ten.
He signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2019.
