BIOGRAPHY
Nate Davis was born on September 23rd, 1996, in Ashburn, Virginia. He plays offensive guard in the National Football League.
In his early years, Davis attended Stone Bridge High School where he was a first-team all-state and 5A North All-Region first-team lineman. As a junior in 2012, he helped the Bulldogs to the Virginia AAA Div. 5 Championship game while as a senior in 2013, he led the Bulldogs to a 9-3 record that included a Liberty District Championship. He was also selected to the 2013 Pigskin Club’s All-Metropolitan Defensive Line and was named team MVP and team captain in 2013.
After he finished high school, Davis committed to the University of Charlotte where as a redshirted freshman in 2015, he played in 12 games, starting 10 at right guard. He made his college debut in the 49ers' first game at Georgia on September 4th and made his first start at Middle Tennessee on September 19th. As a sophomore in 2016, Davis played in nine games with eight starts at right guard and helped 49ers offense rank sixth in C-USA in rushing. He was also an Honorable Mention All-Conference USA. As a junior in 2017, Davis played and started all 12 games at right guard, helping the 49ers average 166.2 yards rushing, which was 8th in C-USA while the 49ers defense ranked 5th in sacks. He also was an Honorable Mention All-Conference USA. In his senior year in 2018, Davis was a 2018 Second Team All-C-USA by league’s coaches, was named 2018 first-team All-C-USA by Phil Steele Publications, was 2018 Preseason All-Conference Second Team by Athlon’s and was named 49ers’ Best Offensive Player for 2018 by SB Nation.
After he graduated from college, Davis entered the 2019 NFL Draft where he was selected in the third round by the Tennessee Titans. Davis was made the starting right guard for the 2020 season, and started all 16 games, blocking for Henry as he won his second rushing yards title and became the eighth player in NFL history to run for 2000 yards in a season. The Titans won the AFC South and finished with an 11-5 record. In the playoffs, Davis stated for the Titans during their wildcard round for against the Baltimore Ravens.
Davis signed a three year contract with the Chicago Bears on March 13, 2022.
