BIOGRAPHY
Michael Davonta Thomas was born on August 16th, 1994 in Chicago, Illinois. He is a wide receiver in the National Football League.
He attended DuSable high school where he scored 29 touchdowns combined as a junior and senior and was named First Team All-District as a junior and senior. He Helped the Panthers to the State Playoffs as a senior. He played college football at the College of Dupage in 2012 as a freshman. As a sophomore, he transferred tp Dodge City CC, and he led them with 42 receptions for 709 yards (70.9 yards per game / 16.9 average) with three touchdowns in 10 games and was named Honorable Mention All-American. In 2014 as a junior he transfers to the University of Southern Mississippi, and he played in all 12 games on the season, making nine starts.
As a senior in 2015, named honorable mention All-Conference USA and set a single-season school marks his senior campaign with 1,391 receiving yards and added 14 touchdown receptions. He played in 13 of 14 games and tallied 71 receptions for 19.6 ypc.
The Los Angeles Rams selected Thomas in the sixth round (206th overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft. On June 9th, 2016, the Rams signed Thomas to a four-year contract; he played in 15 games in his rookie campaign and became a significant contributor on special teams while racking up six special teams tackles.
In 2017 he finished the regular season with five receptions for 93 yards. He played in 2018 season opener before being placed on the season-ending injured reserve.
On March 24, 2020, Thomas signed with the Cincinnati Bengals. In Week 2 of the 2020 season, Thomas caught his first professional touchdown on a four-yard pass from Joe Burrow in the 30–35 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
On March 26, 2021, Thomas re-signed with the Bengals on a one-year contract. Thomas joined the Baltimore Ravens in 2023.
