BIOGRAPHY
Mike Davis was born on February 19th, 1993 in Atlanta, Georia. He is a running back in the NFL.
Attended Stephenson High School and rushed for 1,923 yards and 21 TDs on 213 carries as a senior, was named to the AAAAA All-State team by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and selected to the 2011 Super Southeast 120 by the Mobile Register.
Davis played in 37 games with 21 starts and rushed for 2,440 yards and 22 TDs on 454 carries. He notched 70 receptions for 755 yards and two touchdowns as a junior, played in 13 games with 10 starts and rushed for 982 yards and nine touchdowns on 199 carries while adding 32 receptions for 368 yards and two touchdowns. In 2013, Davis earned SecondTeam All-SEC honors as he played in 12 games.
On May 2, 2015, Davis was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft with the 126th overall pick. On September 20, 2015, Davis made his NFL debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers, backing up Carlos Hyde who had to leave the field injured. He finished his rookie season with 58 rushing yards and 38 receiving yards. Davis has appeared in 35 games with nine starts over four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers from 2015 until 2016 and Seattle Seahawks from 2017 until 2018. He has rushed for 862 yards on 234 attempts (3.7 avg.) with five touchdowns and adding 408 receiving yards on 59 receptions (6.9 avg.) with a score.
On March 13, 2019, Davis signed a two-year, $6 million contract with the Chicago Bears. In Davis's first game as a Bear, he rushed five times for 19 yards and caught six passes for 17 yards as the Bears lost to the Green Bay Packers by a score of 10–3.
In 2021, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons on a 2-year deal.
