BIOGRAPHY
Matt Dickerson was born on November 9th, 1995, in San Francisco, California. He is a defensive end for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL.
His Dad played college football at Henderson State (Ark.), he has a twin sister, Megan. Played football for the first time as a high school freshman, and lists former NFL standout running back Walter Payton as the athlete he admires the most. Some of his hobbies include fishing, golf and hanging out with family and friends. Named to the Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll in Fall 2014, Spring 2015. He was a Political Science majorin college at UCLA.
He was a Four-star recruit according to rivals.com, and the No. 16 strong side defensive end in the nation and No. 33 prospect in the state of California according to rivals.com. Was a Four-star recruit according to scout.com, the No.189 prospect in the nation, the No. 22 defensive end in the country, No. 31 prospect in the West and No. 20 recruit in the state of California. His team won WCAL CCS Championship for first time in 2013, whcih helped get him invited to the Semper Fidelis All-America Bowl. In 2013 Dickerson was an American Family Insurance/USA Today All-USA 2nd team selection. As a junior, he won all-league honors and had 53 tackles and four sacks, while also lettering in basketball.
Dickerson signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2018. He made his NFL debut on September 23, 2018 in a 9-6 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars. As a rookie, Dickerson played in three games with three tackles.
