BIOGRAPHY
Marlon Humphrey was born July 8, 1996 in Hoover, Alabama. He is a defensive back in the National Football Leagu.
Humphrey was selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Humphrey attended the University of Alabama where he started 29 games and recorded 81 tackles, five interceptions, thirteen pass deflections and three forced fumbles. Humphrey played a significant role in guiding the team to the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2015. He continued to excel and became a first-team All-American and one of the best corners heading into the 2017 draft.
Marlon has established himself as the face of the Ravens defense and an NFL superstar. Each year, he has taken a leap with his abilities and leadership which has brought back the tradition of a dominant Ravens defense. In 2020, he led the NFL in forced fumbles and set the Ravens franchise record. Marlon was named to the 2019 and 2020 Pro Bowls and was awarded first-team All-Pro in 2019.
Humphrey returned to his starting role at the beginning of the 2022 season. In a 24–9 Week 1 win over the New York Jets, he had seven tackles, a quarterback hit, and recovered a fumble. He had his first interception of the year in a Week 3 37–26 win over the New England Patroits. The next week, Humphrey returned an interception 26 yards in a 20–23 loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Marlon was born and raised in Hoover, Alabama, and comes from a family of track and football star athletes. His father was a first-team All-American running back for the Crimson Tide and was a first-round draft pick for the Denver Broncos. Outside of football and family, Humphrey has created a special bond with his cat, Snowflake, who he rescued from BARCS Animal Shelter, and documents their adventures on Snowflake’s personal Instagram.
In 2023, Marlon Humphrey was selected to his 3rd Pro Bowl.
