Lester Cotton Sr. was born on February 20, 1996 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He is on an offensive guard in the NFL.

Growing up in Alabama, Cotton was one the states, top offensive lineman, out of Central High. He was invited to play in 2015 Under Armour All-American Game. As a four-star recruit, he decided to stay home and play for the University of Alabama.

As a freshman in 2015, Lester played in only 4 games. His sophomore season went between the starting and backup roles. That season he started two games at left guard and three at right guard. During the 2017 season, Lester was able to carve out a starting role. He was a finalist for the Joe Moore Award while being a part of the National Championship journey. Lester Collins decided to come back for his senior year where he transitioned into the left guard position. Lester went undrafted in the 2019 NFL draft when the Oakland Raiders now Las Vegas Raiders picked him up.
