Lamont Gaillard was born on February 8th, 1996 in Fayetteville, Norh Carolina. He is an offensive lineman for the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL.

Gaillard attended Pine Forrest High School where he was an Under Armour All-American, All-State selection, four-star prospect and top-five ranked DT in the country. Gaillard was neamed first-team Mid-South All-Conference honoree with 108 tackles, seven for loss and four sacks as a junior. He was named first-team Mid-South All-Conference after totaling 82 tackles as a senior and helped lead the Trojans to a 10-2 record and its second-consecutive playoff appearance.

Gaillard  was a three-year starter at Georgia, where he started all 42 games in his final three seasons. He was a first-team All-SEC center for the #7 ranked Bulldogs that claimed the 2018 SEC Eastern Division championship and started all 15 games for the SEC Champion Bulldogs that won the Rose Bowl. He clinched an appearance in the CFB National Championship game and finished the 2017 season ranked No. 2 in the AP polls.

Lamont Gaillard was selected by the Arizona Cardinals with their second pick in the sixth round with the 179th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Georgia. First Georgia player drafted by the Cardinals since tight end Leonard Pope in 2006.  Gaillard was just the third Bulldog selected by Arizona in the last 25 years from1995 to 2019.
