Kwon Alexander was born on August 3rd, 1994 in Oxford, Alabama. He is a linebacker in the NFL. 

Alexander attended Oxford High School in Oxford, Alabama. As an impact player on the defensive side of the ball, Alexander posted 144 tackles, 17 sacks, and six forced fumbles (three recoveries) as a junior in 2010. Oxford finished the season 12–2, advancing the AHSAA Class 6A state semi-finals. Alexander participated in the Under Armour All-American Game as a member of the black team. He was chosen as a finalist for the High School Butkus Award, given annually to the nation’s top linebacker. Alexander was also a state qualifier in track & field at Oxford.

Alexander attended LSU from 2012 to 2014. As a true freshman, he played in seven games with two starts and had 12 tackles. As a sophomore, he started nine of 13 games. He finished the season with 65 tackles. As a junior, Alexander led the team with 92 tackles and had 1.5 sacks. After his junior season, Alexander entered the 2015 NFL Draft.

Alexander spent four seasons (2015-18) with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the team selected him in the fourth round (124th overall). With the Buccaneers, he started in all 46 games. Since 2015, he is one of four players in the NFL to register at least 300 tackles, 6.0 sacks and six interceptions (Thomas Davis, Luke Kuechly and Harrison Smith).

On July 28, 2022, Kwon Alexander signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets. Alexander joined the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2023.
