BIOGRAPHY
Kenneth Kim Young was born on November 15th, 1994 in New Orleans, Louisiana and currently plays linebacker in the NFL.
He attended John Curtis high school where he was a Four-star recruit according to scout.com and the nation's No. 150-rated prospect. He was 2013 MaxPreps first-team Medium Schools All-America and 2013 American Family Insurance/USA Today All-USA second-team. He Made 122 tackles, nine for loss, as a senior.
He played college football at UCLA; in 2014 as a freshman, he saw action in all 13 games, with six starts and Registered 35 tackles on the season. As a sophomore in 2015 he appeared in 13 games with 12 starts and ranked fifth on the team with 69 tackles; his 5.0 tackles for loss tied for fourth-best total on the team.
In 2016 as a junior he was named second-team All-Pac-12 Conference as selected by the coaches and starter in all 12 games and finished second on the team with 90 tackles. He ranked sixth in the Pac-12 in total tackles per game (7.5), Second on the squad with 8.5 tackles for loss and Ranked 14th in the Pac-12 in sacks per game (0.42); he was Eighth in the country with his three fumble recoveries.
As a senior in 2017 he was selected first-team All-Pac-12 Conference by the coaches and starter in all 12 games he appeared in. He went over the century mark in tackles for a season for the first time in his career and led the team with 110 tackles, he finished second in the Pac-12 in tackles per game (9.2) and was Honorable mention, All-Pac-12 Academic team. He completed his Bruin career ranked 13th on the all-time school list for tackles (304).
The Baltimore Ravens drafted young in the fourth round, 122nd overall, of the 2018 NFL Draft. In his NFL debut in the Ravens' season opener against the Buffalo Bills, Young recorded his first career sack to go along with four total tackles. He finished his rookie season with 51 combined tackles, 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble.
On October 15, 2019, Young was traded to the Los Angeles Rams, along with an undisclosed draft pick, in exchange for cornerback Marcus Peters.
He was traded to the Denver Broncos from the Los Angeles Rams on October 25th, 2021.
