BIOGRAPHY
Kenjon Fa'terrel Barner was born on April 28, 1990, in Lynwood, California. He is a running back in the NFL.
He attended Notre Dame high school; he was The PrepStar All-West Region pick was ranked as 38th-best running back in the country by Rivals.com as well as 86th overall prospect in the state. He afforded team MVP honors in football and basketball as the league's scoring leader in both sports while claiming first-team all-CIF applause in football and second-team tributes in basketball.
He played college football for the Duck at the University of Oregon; he played in 49 games with 20 starts at Oregon, finishing his career ranked second in school history with 3,623 rushing yards and tied for second with 41 rushing touchdowns on 582 attempts.
He averaged 22.5 yards on 61 kickoff returns for 1,371 yards and one touchdown and 10.1 yards on 26 punt returns for 263 yards and one touchdown. He was a First-team All-American and First-team All-Pac-12 Conference honoree, in addition to a finalist for the Walter Camp Player of the Year and Doak Walker Award in 2012.
On April 27, 2013, Barner was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the sixth round (182nd overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft; he played in eight games for the Carolina Panthers in 2013, rushing six times for seven yards and returning a kickoff for 16 yards in the NFC Divisional Playoff game.
On August 19, 2014, Barner was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles; and signed to the practice squad. In 2015, Barnes appeared in 10 games, tallying 28 carries for 124 yards and adding 22 receiving yards on nine receptions. He saw action in 13 games for Philadelphia in 2016, recording 27 carries for 129 yards and two touchdowns.
On March 20, 2017, Barner signed a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers. On September 26, 2017, Barner signed a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles; he Played in 13 games with one start for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, winning a Super Bowl ring, rushed for 57 yards on 16 attempts with one touchdown, in addition to five receptions for a career-best 56 yards.
In 2018 he began the 2018 season on New England's roster, totaling 19 carries for 71 yards during five games and finished the season with Carolina, seeing action in four games, recording one catch for three yards in addition to 29 yards off seven punt returns and 220 yards off nine kickoff returns.
On March 14, 2019, Barner signed a one-year contract with the Atlanta Falcons.
