BIOGRAPHY
Keaton Sutherland was born on February 12th, 1997, in Flower Mound, Texas. He is a guard for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL.
In Marcus High school, Sutherland earned first-team District 5-6A honors and All-Area honors from the Dallas Morning News as a senior. Sutherland graded out at 93 percent with 86 knockdowns and 43 pancakes. In 2015 he helped clear the way for an offense that gained an average of 424.7 total yards per game (169.1 rushings and 255.6 passing). The 2015 offense was the seventh group in school history to win more than 5,000 total yards, 3,000 passing yards and 2,000 rushing yards in the same season.
In 2016 he helped clear the way for a balanced Aggie offense that gained 467.0 yards per game, with 211.8 rushing and 250.0 passing yards per game. His offense rushed for more than 200 yards in seven games and had 350-plus yards vs. Arkansas and Tennessee. In 2017 Sutherland started in 12 games, he helped lead the Aggie offense to 406.8 total yards of offense including 155.6 rushings and 251.2 through the air. He began at RT at UCLA in which the Aggies rushed for 392 yards and five touchdowns. He assisted the offense in gaining 562 yards against New Mexico, 501 versus Arkansas and 614 against Wake Forest.
In 2018 Sutherland appeared in 11 games, starting nine, and helped the Aggies gain 5,590 total yards. He led the Texas A&M offense in gaining 500-or-more yards of total offense in five games. Sutherland signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2019 but then was moved to the practice squad in September. On September 17th, 2019 he was promoted to the active roster and made his NFL debut against the Buffalo Bills. On the 25th he was waived, but the next day the Miami Dolphins claimed him off waivers.
