BIOGRAPHY
Jordan Phillips was born on September 21, 1992, in Wichita, Kansas. He is a Nose tackle in the National Football League.
Phillips attended Circle High School and played college football at the University of Oklahoma. During high school, Phillips was ranked in ESPNU 150. He had 68 tackles and 8.5 sacks in 2010 and also recorded 17 receptions for 400 yards and four touchdowns, two rushing touchdowns and had a 36.9-yard punting average.
In 2012 during college, Phillips played in 11 games. He posted first four tackles of his career vs. Kansas (10/20). He matched a career high with four tackles at Iowa State (11/3). In 2013, Phillips recorded a sack and broke up a pass against Notre Dame (9/28). He made one tackle versus West Virginia (9/7) and recorded two tackles in his first career start against ULM (8/31).
During his senior year in 2014, Phillips set a career high with seven tackles in the Russell Athletic Bowl against Clemson. He was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team by the league's coaches, AP, 247Sports and Athlon Sports and the All-Big 12 Third Team by Phil Steele.
Phillips was drafted within the second round by the Miami Dolphins of the 2015 NFL Draft. During his rookie year in 2015, Phillips played 15 games making 19 tackles, two sacks, and four passes defended.
On October 3, 2018, Phillips was claimed by the Buffalo Bills. On March 4, 2019, Phillips re-signed with the Bills.
On April 6, 2020, Phillips signed a three–year contract with the Arizona Cardinals.
On March 17, 2022, Phillips signed with the Buffalo Bills on a one year deal.
