Joey Hunt was born on February 22nd, 1994 in El Campo, texas. He is a center for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. 

Hunt committed to the TCU on January 29, 2011. Hunt played all four years on the offensive line with the Horned Frogs, playing in 42 games over that span.

During his senior year at TCU, Hunt was named first-team All-Big 12 by the head coaches and Associated Press, second-team Academic All-Big 12. Hunt was one of the nation’s top centers, who took most of his snaps alongside Trevone Boykin during his collegiate career. Hunt led a TCU offense that produced a 1,000-yard rusher and receiver in the same season.

Hunt was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 215th overall pick in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. On May 6, 2016, the Seahawks announced that they had signed Hunt to his rookie contract. He was promoted to the active roster on December 5, 2017.
