BIOGRAPHY
Joe Walker was born on December 11th, 1992, in Palos Verdes Peninsula. He is an inside linebacker in the NFL.
Walker played college football at the University of Oregon. In 2012 He Enrolled for classes in January and benefitted from participation in 2013 spring drills. Walker Recorded five tackles in 2013 Spring Game, including an assisted tackle-for-loss of 1 yard. In 2013, Walker was his Team’s top reserve linebacker and came off the bench to play in the Ducks’ first 12 games. He credited with a single-game high nine tackles and a TFL in his most extensive play of the year in the win over California.
In 2014 Walker broke into the starting lineup in 10 of his 15 appearances, tying for fourth on the team in tackles and finishing second among inside linebackers. He racked up eight tackles for loss, with two coming in a home win against the Spartans and a road victory over UCLA. In 2015 Walker was. One of the Ducks' most unheralded keys to its success led the team in tackles and fumble recoveries his senior year despite missing the team's regular-season finale vs. Oregon State. He Starting all 12 games. Walker returned a fumble 52 yards for a score against Georgia State. Walker nabbed his first interception of his career at Colorado in addition to recovering his second fumble of the year.
The Philadelphia Eagles selected Walker in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He made his professional regular-season debut in the Philadelphia Eagles' season-opening 30-17 win at the Washington Redskins. On September 19, 2018, Walker was signed by the Arizona Cardinals off the Eagles practice squad.
