BIOGRAPHY
Jesse Davis was born on September 15, 1991, in Asotin, Washington. He is an offensive guard in the NFL. He played college football at Idaho.
At high school, he was a first team State 2B tight end, and first-team District 9 2B as a senior. He had 10 receptions for 169 yards and four TDs, had 35 tackles (14 solo and 21 assists), two sacks (-11 yards), one pass defensed, one fumble recovery (returned eight yards) and one blocked punt. He was a first-team District 9 2B selection as a junior in 2008 and also played basketball and baseball.
He redshirted his first season on college in 2010, but in 2011 he sat out one game because of injury but played in all of the others. He had three solo tackles and six assists for a total of nine and also had three quarterback hurries and one pass breakup.
During 2012, Davis started all 12 games at defensive tackle, led the team in quarterback hurries with five, and had 13 tackles (seven solo and six assists). He also had an 86-yard fumble return.
On 2013 Jesse moved to offensive tackle midway through spring ball and started five games at strong tackle before being sidelined with an injury.
Davis entered the NFL when he signed with the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2015. He also was on the practice squad for the New York Jets.
On November 22, 2016, Davis was signed to the Miami Dolphins' practice squad. He signed a reserve/future contract with the team on January 10, 2017. Davis made the Dolphins 53-man roster in 2017, and made his NFL debut at left guard in the team's season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers. He started Week 8 and 9 at left guard, then finished the season as the starting right tackle in place of the injured Ja'Wuan James.
Davis was named the starting right guard to begin the 2018 season. He has played in 32 games on his professional career and started on 26.
On October 31, 2023, Davis signed with the San Francisco 49ers's practice squad.
