Jeff Heath was born on May 14, 1991 in Lake Orion, Michigan. He is a safety in the NFL.

Heath went to Lake Orion High School where he played both soccer and football. He was voted all-league, All-North Conference, all-state finalist, Big Play Player of the Year, recipient of the Big Stick Award for hardest hitter and team captain during his time there. He committed to play at Saginaw Valley State.

During his 4 years at Saginaw Valley State, he started in 30 of 35 games. Over his career, he recorded 219 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 7 interceptions and forced 4 fumbles. He went undrafted during the 2013 NFL draft but the Dallas Cowboys picked him up after the draft.

The first two seasons on the Cowboys, Heath was battling with other safety's for the starting role. During that time, Jeff was primarily in the backup position. At the start of the 2015 NFL season, Heath was named the backup free safety again behind J.J. Wilcox. The 2017 and 2018 seasons is when Jeff began to start for the Cowboys. During that time he started in 31 of the 32 games with 118 tackles. The Raiders signed Jeff to a two year deal in 2020.
