BIOGRAPHY
Jayson Stanley was born on April 24th, 1997, in Fairburn, Georgia. He is a cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL. Stanley attended Creekside high school and played college football at Georgia.
During high school, Stanley was member of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution 2014 Super 11, a PrepStar Magazine four-star prospect, #164 player in the PrepStar Top 300, he was ESPN.com four-star prospect, #156 player nationally, #17 WR, #20 player in the state, recorded 41 receptions for 817 yards and 16 TDs as a junior, Stanley helped Creekside to the Georgia AAAAA state playoffs his sophomore and junior years, including a state title in 2013, he played in the 2013 Georgia Rising Seniors All-Star Game, was named game MVP and recorded two TDs for 70 and 47 yards, also ran track, with a personal best 10.83 in the 100m, and won the Georgia AAAAA 4x100 meter relay in 2013 and 2014.
Stanley played football for Georgia from 2015 to 2018. In 2015 Stanley played in three games, he made two receptions for 23 yards vs. Southern. In 2016 he appeared in nine games, making five starts, he made the first career start vs. Nicholls and was named Most Improved - Offense during the spring, he caught four passes for 87 yards in the G-Day spring game. In 2017 Stanley appeared in 12 games and got his first starting assignment of the season in the SEC Championship Game, he was one of three recipients of Special Teams Most Improved Player Award, given at team’s post-season awards gala. In 2018 he played in each of the last 13 games, earning starting assignments in wins over Kentucky and Georgia Tech.
The Atlanta Falcons signed Stanley to a three-year contract.
