Jayrone Carez Elliott was born on November 11th, 1991, in Cleveland, Ohio. He is an outside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL. 

During high school, Elliot earned first-team all-district, third-team all-state, and Cleveland Plain Dealer All-Star Team honors as a senior. He had 98 tackles, including 17 sacks, two forced fumbles, an interception, and three blocked kicks. He helped guide Glenville to the Division I state title game. Elliot was rated No. 56 outside linebacker in the nation by Scout.com. Rivals.com named him to its Ohio first team, No. 81 at outside linebacker and No. 32 overall in the state of Ohio.

During college, Elliot became a starter at defensive end as a senior, registering 70 tackles (third on the team), nine sacks (led the team), and 14 tackles for loss (led the team) and five forced fumbles led the team. He finished his career with 47 games (12 starts), 124 tackles (22½ for loss), 16 sacks, six forced fumbles, and four passes defended.

Elliott signed with the Green Bay Packers on May 12, 2014. Jayrone Carez Elliott has played for multiple teams throughout his NFL journey.

Elliott signed with the Miami Dolphins on April 9, 2019. He was released on July 24, 2019.
