Jakobi Meyers was born on November 9, 1996, in Lithonia, Georgia. He is a wide receiver in the National Football League.

During high school, Meyers was ranked the No. 53 dual-threat QB nationally by ESPN.com, as a junior threw for 1,600 yards and 15 TDs and rushed for 425 yards and six TDs, as a senior completed 110 of 170 passes (64.7 percent) for 1,834 yards and 23 touchdowns. Rushed for 534 yards and eight more scores.

Meyers played for the NC State University football team from 2015 to 2018. In 2015 Meyers redshirted the season at quarterback. In 2016 moved to wide receiver from quarterback a week before the season opener, saw action in every game. During his career, he had 168 receptions for 1,932 yards and nine touchdowns. After his junior season, he entered the 2019 NFL Draft. Meyers 92 receptions broke Torry Holt's single-season receptions record for NC State.

Meyers signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He debuted in the Patriots' preseason opener against the Detroit Lions, recording a game-high six catches for 69 yards and two touchdowns in a Patriots 31–3 win. On 2019 the New England Patriots signed Meyers to a three-year contract.

On March 13, 2022, the Patriots placed a second-round restricted free agent tender on Meyers. Meyers signed the second-round tender on June 13, 2022, worth $3.9 million. Meyers signed with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023.
