BIOGRAPHY
Isaiah Oliver was born on September 30, 1996, in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a cornerback in the National Football League.
He attended Brophy College Preparatory; he Earned first-team All-State and All-Section honors as a senior at Brophy Prep, when he also garnered All-Arizona Super Top 25 honors and was ranked as the No. 19 overall prospect in the state of Arizona (Scout.com; No. 24 by the Arizona Republic). He blocked an incredible nine kicks (field goals or extra points) during his high school career.
He played college football at the University of Colorado; he saw action in all 13 games during his freshman season in Boulder, including three starts. He recorded 19 tackles (16 solo), with six passes defensed, and five third-down stops.
Oliver played in all 13 games as a sophomore -starting two, at Oregon and versus Utah - in addition to starting in the Alamo Bowl. He was a mainstay in the secondary playing 440 snaps at cornerback. He was named the team's Bill McCartney Award recipient, honoring a player for special teams' achievement. Recorded 25 tackles on the year, broke up 13 passes to tie for third on the team, and recorded eight third-down stops.
In 2017, earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors after playing and starting in 10 games and recording 26 total tackles, two interceptions, and 13 passes defensed. Oliver was the ninth player in the University of Colorado's history to declare for the NFL draft after his junior season, Oliver recorded 82 total tackles, 32 passes defensed – 10th most in school history – and three interceptions.
The Atlanta Falcons selected Oliver in the second round (58th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft; On May 9, 2018, the Atlanta Falcons signed Oliver to a four-year contract. He saw action in 14 games with two starts during his rookie season, recording 19 tackles (16 solo), seven passes defensed, four special teams' tackles and one interception. During the week 16 at the Carolina Panthers, intercepted QB Tyler Heinicke for first career interception.
Oliver joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2023.
