Godwin Igwebuike was born September 10, 1994, in Pickerington, Ohio. He is a safety in the NFL. Igwebuike was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2018. He was waived on September 1, 2018 and was signed to the practice squad the next day. He was promoted to the active roster on November 16, 2018. He was waived on November 26, 2018. On November 27, 2018, Igwebuike was claimed off waivers by the San Francisco 49ers. He was waived on April 29, 2019. Igwebuike was claimed off waivers by the Philadelphia Eagles on April 30, 2019. He was waived on August 2, 2019. On August 4, 2019, Igwebuike was claimed off waivers by the New York Jets. He was waived on August 31, 2019. On January 14, 2021, Igwebuike signed a reserve/futures contract with the Detroit Lions.
