Ethan Greenidge was born September 10, 1997 , in Flanders, New York. He is an offensive tackle in the National Football League.
Ethan “Big E” Greenidge has been a fixture on Villanova’s offensive line ever since he first arrived as a freshman, and all that time and hard work has paid off. Although his name wasn’t called during the 2019 NFL Draft, he had a few offers from NFL teams to pick from, before ultimately choosing the New Orleans Saints. Greenidge, a hulking 6-foot-4, 335-pound offensive lineman, quickly rose the ranks. After a few games into his freshman season, he was inserted into a starting role amid a 2015 season that was hampered by injuries—especially on the offensive line. Greenidge proved himself, starting in seven of the nine games he played that year. After that, he never left his post as a full-time starter for the rest of his career. Greenidge was a mainstay at LT for his entire college career at Villanova, starting all 43 games that he appeared in for the Wildcats. Greenidge played every game during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. Greenidge was a two-time All-Conference selection and a STATS FCS pre-season All-American heading into the 2018 season. He became known as one of the top linemen in the CAA and FCS and got a chance to be evaluated at the 2019 NFL Combine. Following the 2018 campaign, Greenidge was invited to participate in the 95th annual East-West Shrine Game held at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL. Greenidge appeared in the game as a reserve offensive lineman for the East squad.
Greenridge signed a three-year deal with the Saints in 2019. Greenidge also got significant guarantees, and the Saints could view him as a good long-term developmental option on the offensive line. Greenridge joined the Atlanta Falcons in 2023.
