BIOGRAPHY
Eric André Wilson was born on September 26th, 1994, in Cleveland, Ohio, and currently plays linebacker in the NFL.
He attended Lee M. Thurston high school, where he was ESPN.com, three-star and Super Prep All-Midwest honoree. He earned all-state, all-conference, and all-metro awards and Named Team MVP; he recorded 64 tackles with four sacks as a senior.
He played college football at Northwestern University; as a freshman in 2012, he redshirted. He transferred to the University of Cincinnati in 2013 and sat out due to NCAA transfer rules. As a sophomore in 2014, he totaled 28 tackles, including 3.5 for a loss, three fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble on the season.
In 2015 as a junior, he was second-team All-American Athletic Conference selection; he recorded 103 tackles on the season while playing in all 12 games. He added 3.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, two hurries and two pass break-ups.
As a senior in 2016, he was named First-Team All-American Athletic Conference as a senior in 2016 and named Claude Rust Award winner as the team's MVP. He recorded a career-best 126 tackles and 3.0 sacks in his senior campaign.
Wilson signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent on May 1st, 2017; as a rookie, he appearing in all 16 games having a vital role on special teams.
During the 2018 season, he appeared in all 16 for the 2nd straight season and started four of them. He recorded 38 tackles, 5 TFL and 2.0 sacks on the season.
In 2021, he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.
