Equanimeous St. Brown was born September 30, 1996, in Placentia, California. He is a wide receiver in the NFL.
After attending Orange (California) Lutheran High School as a freshman, Equanimeous St. Brown transferred to Servite High School in Anaheim, California, where he lettered for three years in football. St. Brown was listed as the 63rd player nationally by ESPN 300, 71st by Tom Lemming, 84th on PrepStar Top 150 Dream Team, 144th by Rivals.com, 160th by 247Sports and 207th by Scout.com. He recorded 32 receptions for 485 yards (15.2 avg.) and four TDs as a senior wide receiver in 2014. St. Brown chose to play college football for Notre Dame.
St. Brown started in all 12 games and led the team with 58 receptions for 961 yards and nine TDs, which all ranked as the third most by a Notre Dame sophomore. He averaged 16.6 yards per catch and 28.7 yards on nine TD receptions. He ranked No. 6 in receiving yards, tied for No. 6 in TD receptions and No. 7 in receiving yards per game (80.1) among FBS freshmen and sophomores. St. Brown ranked among the country’s top 50 receivers overall in receiving TDs (t-No. 36), receiving yards per game (No. 41) and receiving yards (No. 45).
St. Brown started all 13 games his junior, recording team-highs in receptions (33) and receiving yards (515) while ranking No. 2 in receiving TDs (four). He registered seven receptions of 20-plus yards and was on the Biletnikoff Award watch list. St. Brown was part of a team that rebounded from a 4-8 campaign in 2016 to post a 10-3 record.
St. Brown was selected by Green Bay with a compensatory pick in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft (No. 207 overall), making him the second Notre Dame wide receiver to ever be drafted by the Packers (Derrick Mayes, second round, 1996). He is the first player the Packers have drafted out of Notre Dame since T Brennan Curtin (No. 212 overall) in 2003. St. Brown made his NFL debut in Week 1 against the Chicago Bears on special teams. In a Week 5 loss to the Detroit Lions, St. Brown recorded his first three professional catches, which went for 89 yards, including a 54-yard catch-and-run near the end of the game. On October 15 against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football, with 15 seconds left in the game, he recorded a key 19-yard catch that helped set up a game-winning field goal by Mason Crosby.
During a preseason game against the Oakland Raiders on August 22, 2019, St. Brown suffered a serious ankle injury, later reported to be a high ankle sprain. The Packers placed him on injured reserve on August 31, ending his 2019 season before it began.
On September 19, 2020, St. Brown was placed on injured reserve. He was activated on October 17, 2020. On December 27, 2020, St. Brown caught his first NFL touchdown, a 21-yard reception from Aaron Rodgers, during a 40–14 Week 16 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday Night Football.
On March 18, 2022, St. Brown signed a one-year contract with the Chicago Bears.
On January 4, 2023, St. Brown signed a one-year, $1.25 million contract extension with the Bears.
