Emmanuel Smith was born on July 25, 1995 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He is a linebacker in the NFL.

Smith was a 2 way starter at Oakland High School his junior and senior seasons. As a senior, he helped lead his team to a 12-1 record, a district title, and a 6A quarter final run. He had 54 total stops, 3 interceptions, and 4 forced fumbles as a DB. After high school, he decided to go to Vanderbilt. Once he got on campus, he saw immediate action when playing in 10 games. During the next three seasons, Smith saw action as a starter. His senior season is when Emmanuel switched to inside linebacker. Going undrafted in the 2018 NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons picked him up.
