BIOGRAPHY

Derick Roberson was born on November 15th, 1995, in San Antonio, Texas, and currently plays outside linebacker for the Tennessee Titans in the NFL.

He attended Brennan high school, where he played for Coach Stephen Basore; he was a three-time all-state honoree. He was selected to the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game and named 4A Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-State by the Associated Press in 2013. During his senior season, he registered 111 tackles, 20 sacks and 39 tackles for loss, 39 pressures; four passes batted down, three recovered fumbles, and one forced fumble.

He played college football at the University of Texas; as a senior in 2014, he redshirted. In 2015 he played in 10 games and recorded six tackles (four solo), including two sacks, one forced fumble, and two pressures.

He transferred to Sam Houston State Bearkats as a sophomore in 2016; during the season, he played in eight games and recorded 15 tackles, four sacks, also had a forced fumble and blocked a kick. In 2017 as a junior, he started 13 games as a defensive end; he recorded 40 tackles, including 8.0 for loss, also had five sacks, a forced fumble, an interception, and five pass breakups.

He signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in 2019.
