Delontae Scott was born on January 21, 1997 in Irving, Texas. He is a defensive end for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL.

Scott was a two-star Rivals and Scout recruit coming out of high school. He notched 49 tackles with 11.5 for-loss and seven sacks in 2014, was named first-team All-District 9-6A and held offers from Cal, Colorado, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State and Minnesota among others. He also lettered in basketball and track.

Scott chose to attend Southern Methodist University in Texas. Scott played in 40 games with 28 starts for the Mustangs, recording 97 tackles (68 solo), 36 tackles for a loss, 18 sacks, two passes defensed, five forced fumbles and a blocked field goal. As a senior, he earned second-team All-AAC recognition after recording career bests with 39 tackles (29 solo), a team-leading 18 tackles for a loss and 10 sacks. Scott earned an invitation to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

The Green Bay Packers previously agreed to terms with DL Delontae Scott on Apr. 29, 2020 and signed him to the practice squad on Sept. 6, 2020.
