BIOGRAPHY
Davis Sharpe was born on October 21st, 1995 in Jacksonville, Florida. He is an offensive tackle in the National Football League.
Sharpe attended Duncan U. Fletcher High School and played football and basketball. In 2014, he was a U.S Army All-American Bowl selection and was named the MaxPreps All-American First Team. Sharpe went on to Florida State in 2014 and worked his way into the offensive line rotation. In 2016 in his junior year, Sharpe was declared for the NFL Draft.
In the 2017 NFL Draft, Sharpe was signed by the Oakland Raiders. Sharpe participated in the Raiders annual Thanksgiving with the Offensive Line in 2017. In the following month, Sharpe started his first NFL game vs. Philadelphia Eagles, filling in for Donald Penn, who suffered a season-ending injury in Week 15. In December 2017, versus the LA Chargers, Sharpe started in his second career game at left tackle. The Raiders waived Sharpe in 2018. Houston Texas signed Sharpe to their practice team but was later waived. In November 2018, the Raiders claimed Sharpe.
On September 1, 2020, the Raiders traded Sharpe and a seventh round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft to the Washington Football Team in exchange for a sixth round pick in the same draft. In the first 9 games of the season, Sharpe mainly played a backup role at right tackle. Sharpe started at right tackle Week 11 win against the Cincinnati Bengals after normal starter Morgan Moses was moved to left tackle to start in place of Geron Christian and Cornelius Lucas who were unable to play due to injuries. He re-signed with the team on March 29, 2021.
Sharpe joined the the Baltimore Ravnes in 2022.
