BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Ekuale was born on January 13, 1994, in Pago Pago, American Samoa. He is a defensive lineman in the NFL.

During college, Ekuale appeared in 51 games with 22 starts at Washington State, recording 71 career tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles. He played in all 13 games with 12 starts and recorded 17 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble as a senior last season, started nine of 13 games as a junior in 2016, recording a career-high 23 tackles and a sack and saw action in all 13 games as sophomore in 2015, notching 22 tackles and a forced fumble. He appeared in all 12 games as a freshman in 2014, tallying nine tackles and a sack, redshirting the 2013 season.  Ekuale earned his degree in social science.

Daniel was signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 2018, and after a few transactions over the same team he finally signed by the Browns on Jan. 2, 2019.

During the 2018 season Ekuale spent the offseason and training camp with the Browns before being waived during final roster cuts, then he signed to the Browns’ practice squad following training camp and spent Weeks 1-13 with the unit.

Ekuale signed signed with the New England Patriots in 2023.
