BIOGRAPHY
Damion DaShon Square was born on February 6th, 1989, in Houston, Texas. He is a nose tackle for the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL.
He played college four seasons (2009-12) at Alabama after redshirting in 2008, appearing in 40 career games with 31 starts, registering 93 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks throughout his career. He was a three-time BCS National Champion, and led the Crimson Tide with nine QB hurries as a senior. He made 33 tackles (11 solo), four tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, a pass defensed and a fumble recovery in his final season.
After going undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft, Square was signed as a free agent by the Philadelphia Eagles. He was released by the Eagles on August 30, 2014. After he was released by the Chiefs, Square was claimed off waivers by the San Diego Chargers on November 3, 2014.
During 2013 he appeared in 10 games with 10 tackles (three solo), a tackle for loss and a pass defensed. At Washington (Sept. 9), he made his NFL debut. At 2014, he spent the time with Kansas City and San Diego after being released by Philadelphia in final roster reductions. For the 2015 season, DaShon played in six games with one start, totaling six solo tackles and a fumble recovery.
For the 2016 season, he appeared in 11 games with seven starts, posting 31 tackles (13 solo), 2.5 sacks and six tackles for loss. Vs. Tennessee (Nov. 6), Damion made his first start of the season and second of his career. At Houston (Nov. 27), playing in his hometown, he split a sack with DE Joey Bosa for the first of his career.
On the 2017 season, Dashon appeared in all 16 games, totaling 45 tackles (19 solo), a tackle for loss, three passes defensed and a fumble recovery.
