BIOGRAPHY
Christopher Reed was born on July 22, 1992, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is a guard in the NFL.
During high school, Reed was a three-year starter and letter winner for Omaha Central. Reed was named Nebraska High School Field Athlete of the year in 2009. During his freshman season in 2011, Reed Started 11 games and was an Honorable Mention All-NSIC pick. He averaged 167.9 yards per game on ground and 189.8 yards per game through the air. In 2012 during his sophomore season, Reed played in nine games and started eight. He was a member of Maverick offensive line and saw backs rush 668 times for 3,300 yards (4.9 ypc; 235.7 ypg) and 38 touchdowns and protected their quarterbacks who completed 166-of-291 passes for 2,370 yards and 19 touchdowns, averaging 169.3 yards per game.
In 2013 during his junior season, Reed started all 12 games on the offensive line for Mavericks. He had 31 starts for a three-year career and helped team rush for 3,536 rushing yards (second-most rushing yards in a single season at Minnesota State). Reed received NSIC South Division All-Conference Second Team Offense honors. In 2014 at his final season as a senior, Reed started in all 15 games for the Mavericks. He helped MSU rush for 3,625 yards and pass for 3,079 compiling 82 total touchdowns and was selected as D2Football.com First Team All-American, NSIC South Division All-Conference First Team Offense, Don Hansen All-Super Region Three Second Team Offense.
Following the 2015 NFL Draft, Reed was signed by the Jacksonville Jaguars and played in 10 games with four starts.
In 2021 he signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
