BIOGRAPHY
Christopher Lindstrom was born on February 28th, 1997 in Dudley, Massachusetts. He is a guard in the National Football League.
Lindstrom's father played at Boston University, and his brother Alec currently plays at Boston College. His father also played defensive end for the USFL's Chicago Blitz in 1984. Lindstrom played high school football at Shepherd Hill Regional High School where he gained interest from Boston College, the University of Massachusetts, Old Dominion, And the University of Connecticut. He signed with Boston College on 03/16/2014. He was ranked 8th in the state coming out of high school. While at Boston College, Lindstrom, started in 49 of 52 games played. His father, Chris Lindstrom, Sr. is in the school's Hall of Fame after his career as a lineman. He also played in the NFL for three years. The younger Chris' uncle, Eric, played at BC, and his younger brother, Alex, is his teammate on the offensive line. Lindstrom stepped into the starting lineup at right guard for the final nine games of his true freshman season, playing in 12 contests. He started at right guard for all 13 games in 2016 before earning second-team All-ACC honors as a junior, splitting time between right guard (two starts) and right tackle (11 starts). He stuck at right guard for all 12 games in 2018, earning Associated Press third-team All-American and first-team All-ACC notice.
Christopher Lindstrom was selected in the first round with the 14th overall pick, by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2019 NFL Draft. He will join fellow Boston College alumni quarterback Matt Ryan in Atlanta.
Lindstrom started all 16 games in the 2020 season, and all 17 games in the 2021 season. In 2021, he allowed 0 sacks all season.
On May 2, 2022, the Falcons exercised the fifth year option on Lindstrom's contract, keeping him in Atlanta through the 2023 season.
On December 21, 2022, it was announced that he would be named to his first Pro Bowl. He was named to the AP All-Pro Second Team on January 13, 2023.
On March 13, 2023, Lindstrom signed a five-year, $105 million contract extension with the Falcons through the 2028 season.
